It is important if you are suffering with acne rosacea to treat it from all angles. Many people do not know, but a healthy gut is an excellent precursor of healthy skin.
That’s why we’ve included these Nordic Apple Cider Vinegar Tablets in our range of acne rosacea products. ACV is an excellent balancer of our internal system and these handy tablets can help us to detoxify our gut and help our skin from the inside out.
Acne rosacea is a subtype of the skin condition rosacea, and is so called due to its similarities between it and acne vulgaris. It is also known as sub-type 2 rosacea and papulopustular rosacea. Both men and women are known to develop rosacea, although the symptoms of acne rosacea are often more severe in men, whereas more women are reported to have the condition.
Unfortunately, there is not one easy cure for acne rosacea patients, but the symptoms can be treated and managed to levels where they are virtually gone. This is good news! It is the easiest to treat of all the different kinds of rosacea.
By using the treatments we have listed above, your symptoms can be managed and their severity reduced in a matter of weeks. After a few months, our customers usually find that their skin is rosacea-free if they have stuck to their treatment plan.
There are medical products which are effective at treating rosacea too, although they can be expensive and are more difficult to get your hands on. All the treatments we have listed are all-natural remedies that have been proven to work time and time again.
One of the main differences between the different rosacea subtypes is how well moisturised the face is. Type 1 patients tend to have dry, under-moisturised skin, whereas type 2 and 3 patients have overly-oily skin.
If you have acne rosacea, you may have any or a combination of the following symptoms:
There are many different environmental triggers which can set off a nasty bout of rosacea – you can read more about rosacea triggers in our extended guide. If avoided, this can be a sound tactic to ensure you stay free of rosacea.
Unfortunately, these triggers do not explain why one individual suffers with the skin disorder and another does not; the exact causes of rosacea remain unknown. This is why it can be so tricky to treat. Having said this, there is a common theme among those who suffer with acne rosacea in particular.
Demodex mites are microorganisms invisible to the naked eye which live in hair follicles, mainly on the face (demodex folliculorum) or in the skin’s sebaceous glands (demodex brevis). These mites are part of the healthy human eco-system but an over-abundance of mites have been found to be present in the skin of acne rosacea sufferers, as reported by the National Rosacea Society.
Our treatments, in particular the Rosacea Serum Sub-Type 2, have been formulated to help cleanse the face of an over-abundance of these mites, which were found to trigger an inflammatory response in 79% of acne rosacea patients.
